Am Kamin in Sankt Peter-Ording

Unfortunately not to be recommended. The restaurant looks attractive from the outside and inside. The quality of the food is on a slightly better chip stand level. The fried potatoes are not made in-house, but presumably from the 10 kilo gastro pack in a pan. The tomato sauce of the penne probably taken from Knorr or some other tetrapack, as well as the paprika sauce of the paprika schnitzel. All in all a tourist trap for me. It's a shame, but the service was friendly, even if I didn't tip after the disappointment, of course. Prices were too outrageous for the service offered.

The food was very good. Fish plate, fried potatoes, sirloin everything was great 👍 we were very satisfied.

Makes a good impression, but unfortunately the food didn't taste that great. The colorful mixed salad for around 7 € was not worth the money, it was very dry like from the Aldi refrigerated shelf. That's really a pity...

One of the cosiest restaurants with authentic cuisine in St. PETER Dorf. The portions of the food are very attractive in terms of value for money. Taste, temperature and very well presented. Service very friendly and helpful. Wine prices are relatively expensive. An early reservation is recommended.

Very tasty food and great service. We had the crab soup beforehand and the main course was the Kaminvariation salad and the rump steak. Everything was excellent!

Pork medallions were delicious. Cheesecake was OK, but nothing special. Fish dishes were delicious too. Definitely a clear recommendation.

Even without a reservation, we got a table for two in the outside area. The food was delicious, the drinks came quickly. Unfortunately, my soup came a little before the drinks and cutlery. Can happen! All around abwr recommendable locality

We were welcomed nicely and had drinks on the table. The tarte flambée, which were mostly ordered, were okay, but not outstanding either. The quality of my Galloway rump steak was very good, although it was almost fried instead of medium, as desired. The fried potatoes fell through, they were saggy and not crispy in the beginning, as it should be for fried potatoes. The service was present and nice, but a bit mellow.

The price-performance package I think is wrong with the food. If a schnitzel is made so flat that it only consists of pamenade, you should think twice. In terms of taste, it was so far ok but nothing more. Fried potatoes weren't crispy. I cannot recommend it to others, sorry.

The outside area looks very clean and attractive. However, we had to wait for our meal over a study period. The tarte flambée were unfortunately far too long in the oven and accordingly hard and dry. In addition, my friend's tarte flambée was already cold. Too bad.

Very nice café in the old village of Sankt Peter-Ording. Currently you have free choice of seats in the outside area and must reserve inside. You can also pay cashless. The Aperol with a paper straw is very good!

It's super nice by the fireplace I've known selected staff very polite by the fireplace for 25 years, the prices for SPÖ are very good. Please stay that way. Highly recommended. thank you

Very good food and friendly service, prices rather high but in keeping with the quality of the dishes. Attention: Payment by card is only possible with a German EC card, also no Visa card

The food is good. Unfortunately the waiting time for the food was very long. Despite friendly requests, we were repeatedly put off. Tables that came after us were served much earlier than we did. Our request to bring us the bill for the drinks because we still had no food after more than 60 minutes was ignored. I am improving to three stars. Because of the long waiting time, we received the drinks for free.

My favorite hotspot to start my vacation. The apple waffle is my absolute favorite. But everything else on the map is also impressive. As almost everywhere in SPO, a little more expensive, but still within the frame.

Waffles were tasteless; Krabbenbrot with eggs was nothing special and the female waiting staff impolite and unprofessional. Plenty of better places to eat/drink nearby.

A very nice restaurant with a clear map - in a positive sense. Better a little less and therefore good. The food here was excellent. There was nothing to complain about. We responded to individual requests and made recommendations. A further visit is definitely planned. The only criticism: no card payment. Second visit to the restaurant. This time with 8 people. 4 adults, 4 teenagers / children. Each group was able to sit at their own table and, as before, was served in a super friendly and courteous manner. The children's food was given priority. Very good. So they were already taken care of in any case. The portions were very generous and didn't leave anyone hungry. Our meal took a little longer. So we had enough time to talk in peace and enjoy the excellent wine. Like last time, the food was absolutely fresh and hot. Everything fit and was in good taste. It was worth it and we were not disappointed. Now it also worked with card payments. Hence full marks.
